Nice work on the mpg. The car wash at the total garage near me does not allow muddy off roaders to use the car wash or the jet wash cos the mud clogs the drains. The local polish contingent don't mind though. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Probably not so long as you don't mind your paint ruined with their brushes, contaminated sponges & caustic truckwash! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Dont know about the tintent but the plough on the back did a good job judging by the amount of muddy clay covering it. Its not damaged or bent so i'll be ok to go vanning any time soon Twisted Evil Laughing

EV, will the mud do any damaged to the paint work if its left on for a week until I have time to give it a good wash at the weekend? As I need to dig all the mud, clay, stones and bits of trees out of the underside especially round the fuel tank, looks likes its doubled in size Shocked
I should of driven through the lake more at the end to clear the underside but i think landys look better with a good splattering of mud Twisted Evil Whistle

Make sure you clean the radiator too, driving through the muddy water will have clogged it up,

I rinsed mine and still had loads of mud in it which, according to the dealer lead to the over heating gauge jumping up, but it stopped once cleaned and a new sensor was done Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

The rads look pretty clear but I will give all the front end and engine bay a good wash out at the weekend.
