If it's under warranty, take to the dealer, if not, wait for a stone to crack your screen, then replace.

you could check the connector which i beleive are located in the A-pillars, access via a torx screw behind the plastic airbag badge

as said, though, you might have just got a failed screen element and they should be covered if on warranty, though if they inspect and fine a smallest of stone chips they blame that

If your not on cover by warranty and have glass cover on your insurance policy, the stone chip which develops into a crack with replace your screen, how the stone chip gets there is up to your discression Whistle Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

It could be the wires to the screen (just under the wiper linkage cover) the wiper linkage some time cut through the wires) double check the multi plug are plugged in tight. chec all the fuses see my gallery for wiring diagram etc

Bobt,

Best way to check the wiring out. Check fuses ?

First check the switch fuse 33, 5amp if you have power check - fuses 34 and 35 Both 40 amp - if you have no power (switch / relay at fault) if you have power, (test with test light or volt meter)

Check for power at the fuse plug if you have power then check the wiring to the screen,

Carefully unplug the n/s and o/s multi plugs under the wiper linkage cover,( don't pull on the screen wiring) check if you have power (test with test light or volt meter) one wire is earth and the other is + power. if you have power the screens at fault (new screen needed)
If your cars still under by warranty back to the dealer, if not approx Censored £400.00 plus for a screen Big Cry Big Cry
all the tests should take about 45 minutes max.

hope that helps Thumbs Up

If you can't get it done under warrany it would be real bad luck if something happened to hit your screen on the way back from the dealers Whistle p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Only needs a lump of mud that has been deposited on the road by TCensoredR to have a stone in it, course then you could claim off the farmer Thumbs Up p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Be glad its not a Mondeo Titanium Sport X heated screen

Cracked windscreen £990 to replace (because of the heated element, the auto light element and auto windscreen wipers) IF you can find one as none are available Blows the £500 excess on the insurance Sad
