GOODYEAR WRANGLER ALL WEATHER M+S 235/65/17 104V

OK guys just found out my spare has a brand new one of these on it so looking to swap it with one of my worn out tyres and buy another for the same axel,

Does anyone have any views on these tyres - good in the snow etc before a i go ahead ?

I have pirelli scorpion on the front which have proved rather good so far freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold

Excellent tyres. Of course they will not be as sure footed in snow as wintracs that are often prasied on here but these are all season tyres so they are a good blend.

We had some very heavy snow here in Derbyshire late november/early december and here are some pics of heavy snow which I ploughed about in without any problems on the wranglers (the last pic is only light snow but was a great posing pic):

No problems with my wranglers in the snow in the lakes when we where up there.

Try AJS tyres who appear in the banner at the top of the forum page. Discounts might be available for forum members.

My wranglers (admittedly almost brand new) were great on the ungritted backroads in Belgium last week. A bit of slip on the hills, but I was very impressed. If you have the silly steel spare, now is the time to buy a cheap alloy off e-bay. Tansfer the new tyre to one of your alloys and use the best old one as a spare. Make sure you get the correct wheel - if you are on standard alloys there's usually a few available.

You may be interested in my post today in "For Sale and Wanted". 17 inch unused steel spare with unused Wrangler £60 "buy it now" through ebay item eBay Item No. 150542525679. Only problem maybe you would have to collect from me in the Midlands.

That's a good price. Mine were £110.64 plus VAT back in August.
