Rear door Locks

I've read the online manual and it seems it can't be altered unless someone knows different.

Ok, two up front and two in rear seats, we set off and all doors lock, we stop but I keep the engine running while I let them out, front passenger pulls door lever and gets out, rear passengers pull door levers and can't get out and I either have to globally unlock on the dash or tell them to pull the lock lever first before pulling the door opener catch.

Obviously if I switched off the engine all doors would have unlocked anyway.

Why is the rear different to the front because if it's a children's thing then the child locks would take care of that!

Anyone know a way around this?

yep, small black lever next to the main door lever will unlock the rear doors, or use the unlock switch on the dash, no other way of doing it except turning off the auto lock function. Details in the manual. ______________________

i quite like the function myself, kids can not jump out till i have opened my door and am ready to protect the cars next to me from him flinging it open Confused

a quick press of the unlock button on the dash is not really a hardship if i have a adult in the car Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
