Threshold braking is just that, knowing how hard to brake before reaching the threshold where the wheel will lock, so in effect none of your wheels will lock and traction is kept fully for braking.


As soon as one wheel locks with threshold braking you have to release all four, modern ABS with EBD will reduce braking pressure to the locked wheel but keep braking on the rest. I still don't see how a human foot with on/off control can possibly beat it. 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass.

Maybe you're right, it's just my two penneth Wink . Down our street where the snow is really compacted and shiny it's nigh on impossible for the ABS to not kick in and it just felt like the car was never going to stop Shocked I thought, surely I could better that with gentle braking but I didn't want to try it again Laughing .
