ipod (iphone) landrover integration module

Hi! I bought my new freelander2 last December and had the landrover link put in. The steering controls work fine with a nano etc, but although it is supposed to work with the iphone, it does play the music, but sadly I have no control for it through the steering wheel. Does anybody please know if there is some kind of update.
Kind regards Simon

Ok. Thank you for your response. Hopefully iPhone updates will eventually cure it.

I wish! The wife and I both have LR's and both have iPhones. I've given up trying to make mine work, apart from when I first got and it picked up the iPhone and I'd phone the old dear up whilst driving along on the voice control, hands free thing. But the novelty wore off. When i sync with the computer on iTunes, the machine thinks it's my wifes iPhone and I get all her crappy girlfriends phone numbers, messages, iTunes purchses etc.

Ticktock I can't speak for iPhones but, with iPods if you hold down shift while starting iTunes you get the opportunity to 'choose' from different libraries or 'create' different libraries for individual users. On starting iTunes it will always default to the user's library who last logged in, to choose a user, just hold down the shift button while clicking iTunes and select the users library to open once individual libraries have been created.
