Landrover 1/2 day experience

Hi guys, I'm back!

I have a birthday coming up and those wonderful kids of mine have pooled together for me to have a 1/2 day Freelander experience at Eastnor Park. I have booked for August 4th, two days after my ?? birthday.
Any of you done the experience and is it worth the money?
I think tbh that the kids were fed up about me banging on about how good our FL2 was in the harsh winter we had, especially as number one son kept getting stuck in his ML280 and son in law didn't fare much better in his X3. Laughing Ralph

I have done a number of the experience days at Ashford, with another one later this month thanks to my friend buying a new D4 Very Happy
All good fun especially as they were free.
You will learn what the FL2 can do, only let down by ground clearance compared to the D3/4 and RRs. 09 FL2 HSE auto Lago Grey

What is it with sons and X3s

Our eldest bought a 3 litre petrol version (damn quick on tarmac), took it off-road with a couple of mates, I get the phone call - Dad we're stuck can you bring a tow rope.
Poor lad broke a front drive shaft joint, didn't keep it long after I repaired it - couldn't take the constant micky take.

Took our FL2 around Eastnor at easter time, brilliant site, VERY muddy, if your in their car they won't let you do the deep river wading, but there are a few "shallow" Whistle crossings to contend with.
Some of the wheel tracks are a bit deep - leading Disco lost a side step, Rolling with laughter you will be amazed just how far you can take a Freelander, and these are the guys to show you how.

To be honest on a slippy surface as long as it's not too deep the FL2 is as good as, if not better than, the rest with a decent set of tyres on.

Parked at Eastnor Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

I've done the FL2 1/2 day at eastnor. Well worth the money, was a fantastic experience and a real eye opener as to what the FL2 is really capable of.

Are you going for the morning or afternoon? I'm at Eastnor that day in the afternoon going to play in the Range Rover

Had a half day at Milton keynes in January, most fun you can have with your clothes on.
