Now all I need to do is fork out Aus$500.00 for a return airfare to Sydney, $70 for cabs in Sydney, $35 for parking at Melbourne Airport $12 for tolls to get to the airport and $15 for entrance to the Sydney Motor Show and I will be able to attend.

There are some interesting things from the literature provided though.

It appears that Australia will only be getting auto trans models as the brochures says that the six speed auto will be standard (that will also be why the "mid 2007" sale date). We will be getting the petrol and the diesel engines (at the moment we only get diesel Freelanders) and it seems that we will only be getting up spec'd models.

And the good news - LR are keeping the Freelander name rather than the stupid US LR2 version!
