The new JLR boss.

Hi everybody,

See below a link to The Liverpool Daily Post Business Section giving details of the new JLR boss.

Question is how can we tell him directly without being diverted by those who have a vested interest that the Land Rover product is a fantastic bit of kit but is let down by the entire dealer network which requires a complete shake up and complete change of attitude?

Well LR/J can only hope that Foster has learnt from his own mistakes at GME. Not exactly a world class executive performance by any of the automotive and global business leadership benchmarks.

He will also do well to settle the impending industrial relations problem due to JLR reneging on a redundancy deal for 300 workers when the Jag X Type production stopped, but rescinded when LR2 demand suddenly increased.

Fingers crossed, as already mentioned in an earlier post, he can axe some of the awful multichain dealers - not that they are all bad but LR have more than their fair share. Honda don't seem to have the same problem.

The forum sponsor is obviously not included in the above dealer comment as they are a pleasure to deal with.
