United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey
Mud flaps

One thing I am quite surprised about - although knowing Land Rover, maybe I shouldn't be - is the lack of mud flaps on Freelander 2's. I am a marshal/radio op on rallies and need to travel down muddy forest tracks. All my previous 4x4's have been Jap - and they ALL, without exception, came with mud flaps. Now I know, of course my L/R dealer will fit a posh set of mud flaps.....anyone know how much they'll screw me for this?

In the UK £45-£49 for a set of fronts and the same again for a rear set and according to LR a dealer will charge half an hour labour for the fronts and 15mins for the rear - you lucky people.

Here in CH the flaps cost UK£74 fronts and the same again for the rear.Dealer hourly labour rates are approximately 60% more than average UK rate Twisted Evil
