looks to be some sort of NAV-TV interface running a seperate touch screen system

I think the demo car has SatNav, and when they switch to it the offscreen switch on the new feed as the picture jumps then

Email them to see what the setup it? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Nav-TV is available worldwide i think

but this is just a way of using the existing wiring from the SatNav DVD player under the seat to the screen, basically the Nav-TV unit hyjacks the data been sent, it will then send what ever you want to the screen, TV, Reversing camera, DVD movies, if you connect up a third party device to it, but i don't think Nat Tv give you touch screen usage.

I have watched the clip a few times and i can't help thinking this is not right, as if they have installed their own screen and somehow are using the LR front screen to make it more advanced than it really is

Lets see if we as a forum can help you out, with what your looking for Very Happy

Does your FL2 have satnav already Question

If Yes, your wanting TV/DVD on the screen....

If no, i presume your looking for satnav with a little more funtionality than a standard LR install Confused

Some members have installed aftermarket system and i'm sure they could be found on the site, or somebody could post a link to these, as i have a meeting to go to now Neutral Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I don't think thats the standard LR screen, they show it for Audi and BMW....

http://www.lionsound.com.br/novo/index2.ph...amp;cod=18

Any Spanish speakers out there?

When I looked into it, to use the existing LR screen you need the NAV-TV unit to interface to the Media bus, and then a seperate under seat or in boot DVD multiplayer. To add TV you need a decent antenna, my personal preference was for something that could live underneath the headliner. I was warned UK signals are poor...

The other alternative was to rip out the LR screen and replace the whole system with completely new, which I expect this is.

Depends of course if its for the use of front seat occupants or rear, if rear then there are cheaper alternatives...

I was close to buying the NAV TV unit, but decided instead to spend the dosh on a new (refurb) limited slip diff for the Cobra Cool 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky
TT Quattro, black. Ers.
AC Cobra rep in build. Ars.

United States 2009 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Hi,

We've relocated to the USA are buying an LR2. We were investigating the possibility of a reversing camera, options and have found a couple of companies in the US that sell the electronics to hook into the factory sat nav system that give DVD, Reversing Camera and TV options. I believe they are just resellers as the documentation seems to come from Asia (believe Taiwan).

The two companies I've found, and both confirm their products will work on an LR2/Freelander 2 are:

http://www.tvandnav2go.com
http://www.navvideo.com/

We've not made a decision yet, however may be of interest..
