Thinking of colour coding

Whats the thought on colour coding the tow eye cover and a few extra bits Question

it will bring the white across from the colour coded front skirt, door handles and mirror caps

In all honesty you'd have to do the roof rails and side tubes too (and windscreen and light washers etc). otherwise no point. Its going to cost a good few £££'s just to code the bits you've highlighted

Ever thought of using some sort of magnetic cover ? , just a thought, your the sort of chap that might have a bit in his garage Whistle

And being impartial as usual , I have to say get a black FL2 as its nearly all coded already Thumbs Up At work

I think you can go overboard on the colour coding, and you would not want to do things like the pillars, roof bars etc

IIRC Alaska White coded door handles were about £80, but i think these don't include the boots handle, with my car they are all matching tungsten colour anyway so match. (my last one had door black handles)

The mirrors are the black plastic, but i not sure about coding them, if i did i would need full caps, as i think half caps look half finished.

I have my sprayman coming round to the the office later I might ask him the cost of the lower cover to be sprayed.

what about having the lower black mesh sprayed silver to match the top grill Question Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Been speaking to my sprayman whilst he was doing a little job for me

To colour code the front tow eye panel, making it smooth finish, like all the rest of the LR coded trim

£80 which isnt too bad TBH

Going to ponder a little longer, on what parts to do, as he doesn't think you can get a full mirror cap for the FL2 (he owns a RRS himself) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Is that the bit under the front of the car? If so, not too sure on that, it will look good but you're gonna get a fair bit of chipping there and it'll really show up.

I would definitely get the side mirrors and door handles done.

I like it and would have it done. Thinking also about the lower grill why don't you try a mock up in Msoft paint I guess like you did with the tow panel.
Wouldn't do the mirrors as they match the door surround area.

If you must go down this route I would also paint the main grill white as well. 09 FL2 HSE auto Lago Grey

I wouldn't have thought there would be any more chipping than the front panels at each side, and they seem to be fairing quite well Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
