Headlamp washer jets removal

The colour coded

headlamp washer jet holder on the passenger side of my 2013 freelander 2 needs to be removed because the water freely escapes from around the base of the washer jet holder. Do I need to remove the screws on the inner wheel arch and pull it back a little to get access , or remove the headlamp, or remove the bumper? which is the easiest way please?

When I first got mine the pipe had become detached from the jet itself and I'm sure I got to it by taking the headlight out.

I may have removed the fog light as well...

It was a bit fiddly, the jet is held by a metal clip. Once it was out there was enough slack in the pipe to get it reconnected and it's been fine ever since.

I did get hold of a new jet before starting 'just in case' Rolling Eyes

The painted cover is just clipped onto the jet, I'm afraid I can't remember at which point I took it off, before or after unclipping the jet itself.

The metal clip is up against the underside of the top of the bumper.

Thanks for your reply, I took the fog lamp out first ,strain of snapping the plastic when taking the cowl off but it came off then the fog lamp came out easily, Headlamp was threatening to snap brittle plastic so I loosened the wing off just to give a mil or maybe 2 . The jetter clip was on upside down compared to a video that I saw on line and when I finally got a screwdriver behind it and levered the dam thing pinged away to a secret hideout somewhere in the garage or within the depths of the engine bay that after an hour of searching still not found. No spare length of pipe so was difficult getting pipe off the jetter and now at the moment I can't get the jetter off the painted body. Ah well, not as bad as doing the ridiculously stupidly sited fuel filter. All in all the Freelander is a great car that should have still been made

Unfortunately, it's the one job I did without taking any pictures at the time and it was a while ago now, not long after I'd got theFL2 in late 2021...

Wish I could remember more to help you out...
