New Zealand 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Sumatra Black
New rain water ingress point not seen mentioned before

So finally had my passenger side floor turn into a fish pond like many have seen on here after a torrential downpour. Thought i'd seen enough to fix this pretty quick. I was wrong.

*rolls up sleeves*

Sunroof Drain - all good
Aircon Drain - fine
Door Seals - perfect
Drain holes and flaps in Windscreen Scuttle - draining well
Cabin Filter - dry and clean.

Well damn. Guess it's time to buy some goldfish and turn it into a 'feature'.

Turned out to be this little funnel thing in the wing behind the battery that had been popped out of it's hole and was just sat off to the side. All the water from the drainage hole in the scuttle was just waterfalling down against the bulkhead instead of into the funnel. Still not quite sure where it had found an entry, but was running down the back side of the cabin filter housing.

Just in case it helps someone else in the future.

I must admit I don't watch his videos, they're too rambling for my taste.
