Door latch part

Just changed over door locking mechanism due to the common failing to unlock syndrome. For the life of me cannot find the part highlighted in the attached photo. No idea where I have put. Is this part available separately if so anyone have a part number?

looks like it comes with a cable and is VIN specific. Jules

Taking the number from the Jag/LR diagram posted by I like chips seems that part LR019831 is what is required. Must say the Jag/LR drawing is pretty poor is that the best they can come up with?
Putting this number in brings up images of the correct part.
Not seen any references to it being VIN specific. Will order one up and see how it goes. Surprised one can just buy this small part at about £1.50 Had visions of having to buy half a door lock assembly.

Fitted about 6 weeks ago all fine. Then now same problem returned. Had fitted replacement door lock actuator as a whole, second hand. Am I just unlucky or is there an underlying problem? Working fine since replacement then just gave up .

Its the bushes in the motors that wear out usually - the motors just stop. The rest of the latch is usually fine. Hence I bought new motors (approx £10) and just replaced the ones in the latch. Ive had no problems with them for the last 2 years.

Unfortunately, with a secondhand latch you get pre-worn motor bushes. Jules
