Wishbone Front Bush

Hi
I would like some advise please, I had an advisory on the last mot about the near side lower arm bush, The garage said I only need the nearside replaced as the offside is ok, Is it best to get them both replaced at the same time.
My thoughts are to replace both sides your advise please.

I would do both sides as they would have had the same amount of wear. 2013 FL2 XS.
Defender 90 300 TDi.

17 hand Irish Drought Thoroughbred (mostly lame)
Nagging Old Boiler.

For information only, I found it easier to replace the whole arm with new O/E from Rimmer Bros, as the bushes have to be radially aligned, and are tight.

Again for information, ther arm I took off had been straightened after a crash by some previous owner. The swivel ball joint was so tight that I had to take the whole hub off of the strut to get access to the top of the ball joint. I also had to buy a set of multiple forked joit splitters from ebay for £45, and a steel drift and for pound club hammer to jar it loose. It was bent in situ.

going to call in to my local garage to get them to replace both they are good mechanics and have done my cambelt replacement a few months ago and I am well pleased.

Just a thought, the majority of curbs and potholes tend to be on the nearside, so the suspension on that side takes more of a hammering.

Replaced both nearside wheel bearings on the wifes car at only 20k - at 35k the offside were still fine. Then again I had to replace the front NS wheel as she hit a curb hard - in a Micra. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner
