Undersealing FL2 & Garage Concerns

Hi,

I've recently had a service carried out by a local Land Rover specialist. The service cost me £220 + VAT for reference. So far, I can't complain about the service completed. They were on time and as not really knowing too much, I'm taking the quality of the work as good. (plus they have been recommedned on here).

But here's the question. They quoted me on undersealing my FL2. Suggested its best to wait till summer as much better to do when warmer. All things that sound right.

However, my mind is racing at their price. £250 + VAT for the job of cleaning down, removing any slight surface marks (it's been undersealed in the past), touching in any base coats of where any surface has needed brushing down and then applying Waxoyl.

Am I being parranoid that this seems too cheap? Or is it likely a reasonable price given my chassis is in good condition as it stands today?

I've deliberately left out the garages name at this time. I must stress, so far they've been what appears to be great. Good comms, reasonable service price, seemed very knowledeable, lots of LR vehicles being worked on.

The cost seems fair for a touch up underseal. Depends on what product they use. When I had my Defender undersealed 7 years ago it cost about twice that and all these years on it is still in great condition, so a top up would definitely cost less.

Related to this, I am trying the Lanoguard product on Phoebe this year. Seems to be holding up against the Welsh mud exceptionally well. Not expecting it to be as long lasting mind and requiring at worst yearly top ups.
