All the mods I have done, as any Land Rover is a blank canvas to enhance that model to meet your own requirements, as each owner has their own ideas with what suits them .......... others wash & polish theirs. Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Strengthen the roof rack.

But I certainly wish I could find an appropriate ladder... having to open the doors to stand on the floor while messing with the skiis or kayak or bike just doesn’t work for me. Guy Pensa

the ladder for the rear tailgate was made by Mantec (now gone bust) one sold on eBay recently for £150.

Would be good if LR had commissioned a ladder for the FL2, like that used on the NEW Defender.

Have you looked at these ...

Without doubt the best mod for anyone who is cursed with HB3 headlamp bulbs. The difference is literally like night and day! Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I stand on the rear wheel - a great perch and you get lots of reach. I sometimes use the front wheel also, and cheat with a knee on the rear of the bonnet. I may try using the front window sill soon. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

I stand on the rear wheel, & if I need to get on the roof to release the second spare wheel, I put a foot on the door catch, open the tailgate so you have a handle as well, it's not too difficult to get up top.
