An upgraded Intercooler on it's own is a very good idea if your towing. It will help to reduce intake temps. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Wouldn't you only need a bigger intercooler if you're going to stick in a bigger turbo too? Hmm.. now there's an idea! 09MY FL2 Td4 XS, Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Martinique Blue.. oh so very blue.. |

Yes that is also true, but even with the standard turbo and standard map, you would make the system more efficient. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Nearly, water at back, a\c condenser in middle and intercooler at bottom in front. You can see it through bottom grill. I know because Ive changed condenser and intercooler(twice) Andy Freelander2 HSE (59 Plate, MY10 spec) |

Apparently the cooler is identical to the 5cyl Focus ST item so in theory the performance coolers for the Focus should be a option , maybe with oversize hoses? |
