FL2 has gone, but I may still lurk...

Hi All,

As per title the, the Freely has been moved on, but I may still lurk around here for a while - unless I get shot for having a Yeti Laughing

Much as I loved the FL, the costs of running and maintenance don't balance well with the small amount of off road use and towing we now do, so a more 'frugal' 4x4 beast for lighter duty is in place .

Next job is to post a few bits for sale...

Ian

Nothing wrong with a Yeti even Clarkson raved about it.

the Evoque - FL2 with a makeover Laughing

IMO the Evoque are great cars, but as with FL2 the auto is the way forward. 3 door Evoque look stunning and are reasonably sized but the 3 doors is a great limitation as the front seats don't go forward far enough for useful access to the rear even just to put stuff on the back seats. If you can live with that the Coupe is awesome. The 5 door is just as practical for normal everyday use as the FL2 , if you don't have to load big square items into the boot.

I haven't owned an FL2 since 2013, so 6 years of lurking for me Laughing

Since then, I have burned my way through a Fiesta Zetec-S, Fiesta ST, VW Golf, Audi A3 and now I'm on an 18 plate VW Polo DSG. Quite a change in size and several cars I've got through there but SWMBO has come to power now so unless I go cap in hand, the rapid car changing days are over Laughing LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

As of last week, I've been downgraded to lurker. Not my choice, as had an accident. Will find the time and post about my experience. Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry 2013 SE TD4 in Mauritius Blue [Written off]
