Anybody got Now tv?

I would like to know how it works, offer available now

https://signup.nowtv.com/broadband/configu...557fbba69d

Does it come with a box or do I buy that else where?
What's a smart stick? does it replace the box or work with it?
I know I will have to buy the codes to use it but it's still a sight less than sky.
Any downsides?
Cheers. Common sense isn't very common.

ive had now TV for a couple of years, bought the little plug in box with free 3 months just for movies and then kept it on paying £9.99 a month. a little bit cheaper than sky movies with most of the same films but the ablility to cancel whenever I wanted Thumbs Up
(I cancelled just before xmas as the films being released were rubbish IMO but I can resubscribe easily enough if I want to)

You get the app now on smart TV's, works the same way.
Or you buy a plug in dongle instead of the little box which again works in the same way.

buy the dongle or use your smart TV if you have one, create an account and then you then buy the 'passes' you want - kids, TV (with some of the more popular Sky channels), Movies etc etc.

Yes we have Now also, about 18 months now, as above buy it with the “box” or use it with an App on supporting TVs, we have a box on the older Sammy TV in the bedroom, and use the App on the newer Sammy TV in the lounge.

Works great, Sky movie and a lot of entertainment package we have (think it’s about £9 a month), no complaints really.....we also use Prime (Amazon) as we use the express delivery service quite a bit so the TV gets thrown in at the same time (£80 per year roughly) and of course we have Netflix.....and to be honest Netflix gets used the most, I’d say 70-80% of the paid for viewing is via Netflix. Regards

David

No need to record.....the programmes are on demand, when you want to see them.

Having said that there are (on Now) several live channels you can watch depending upon the package you bought, although we have never watched a live channel on Now. Regards
