Yep used it, also used Millers VSP occasionally.
Cant say I noticed any improvement in fuel consumption but its bound to help things run more smoothly and cleaner. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I use Millers Ecomax Diesel treatment a couple of times a year just to flush it through....no adverse or positive effects of note to add...

I have used it a couple of times, but I don't use, "Supermarket", fuel. You may save a few pence at the pump, but you will pay later when you have to replace pumps or injectors. I warned my neighbour about using, Sainsbury's desiel, but they took no notice £400 bill at about 35000 miles. I rest my case.

I use both Sainsbury’s and Shell, and have recently been using this Shell V power and not noticed any difference. Marketing ??

The big fuel brands and the supermarket base stock can come from the same refinery , under swap deals . So for example your local supermarket and Shell garage and Esso Garage May load their tankers at the same place . The big difference is the additive pack that goes into the base fuel . Brands like BP and Shell have their own packs which are proprietary.

At the moment I use Shell of BP mainly because the garages are convenient . In a past life as a company car driver , our fuel was bought on a virtual bunker system . We had to use Morrison’s as the pump . We had a fleet of over 200 diesel cars and I ran BMW cars up to 120,000 miles on that fuel without issues .

IMHO it’s crackers paying for super fuels like V Power and such in a pedestrian vehicle like a Freelander 2 . You are truely chucking money away over standard “ Shell “. In a Porsche Cayenne turbo perhaps there is a case but I doubt it . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Same here, never notice any difference. Been using Sainsbury’s fuel lately due to one open up near me 18 months ago before that it was shell. The car doesn’t drive any different apart from when I had to use a BP station one morning and it kept loosing power shortly afterwards when pulling away. Use a couple of fuel cleaners on a couple of fill ups and all come good. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green
