2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Noise between 50-70mph

Hi everyone
A bit of advice or help needed not long had the freelander 57 GS Manual, got to say loving it and far better than i expected coming from disco 3 auto, however there seems to be a whining droning sort of noise which seems to get louder as i get to 50-70 mph, i think its coming from front but wife who sits in back with the bairn seems to think rear is where noise is, any advice would be great
