Hi Rog, they might not help you see anything but at least they seem to last longer not helping to see anything Rolling with laughter

The price on Xenons headlamps is disgusting and cannot believe that they were not fitted to the HSE models .would have preferred them to stored cd's or a bloody armrest Evil or Very Mad If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

yeh I could never understand why the HSE Lux was the only one to have them as standard, I would have thought HSE and above to be honest.

My HSE was eventually fitted with LR supplied unknown brand halogen bulbs which were shocking, and then the wiring mod was done which seemed to make them worse.

Cars ive had with Xenons have been vastly improved, the Jaguar XE being the best so far by a long shot. Ive yet to see what these Ewok ones are like as im normally fast asleep by the time its dark at the minute Laughing 2001 FL1 TD4 GS Auto 3 Door Tonga Green

I don't see why there seems to be a reluctance to change to LED bulbs - they are a simple retrofit and MUCH cheaper than xenons. Whistle They are also perfect for projector headlights too, with no dazzle. Cheers,
Raz

I tried LED but the projection on them was awful, unless I needed to get better LED bulbs 2001 FL1 TD4 GS Auto 3 Door Tonga Green

The early ones were awful but there is a new generation of bulbs which places the light source exactly in the same position as the halogen filament, even with a brighter hot spot so they mimic the halogen characteristics.

Have a look at these ....

But these say they are H7 and HSE Halogens are HB3,oram I totally missing something here? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Razman has a prefacelift model which has H7 bulbs. The earlier headlights are not actually that bad as they have 2 seperate bulbs for dip and main beam and both illuminate when main beam is selected. Thumbs Up

Actually my 2012 has H11 dips with H7 mains and is a pretty good combination - even better with LEDs though. Very Happy I am pretty sure you can get HB3 or equivalents. Cheers,
Raz

Can't help with your wanted advert I'm afraid but just to say I bought, and sold, a pair of Signature Xenon headlights on ebay for £250 in the last year, so get an email alert set. They don't attract any more money than the halogen equivalents! But as I'm sure you know, you'll have to edit the CCF!
