Solar power problems on RV / caravans.

Solar power, batteries, controllers, wiring & shadowing problems which on the whole are very easily avoided if the job was done right the first time.

I stumbled across this, it is worth spending the time reading the whole article thoroughly even if you don't have problems but have some form of solar setup, you might be able to improve what you have at little cost.

Or if you are installing a new setup it gives you a bit of a heads up on solar power issues so you can get it right the first time!

Very nice write-up - Thanks!
We use solar a lot for off-road caravans and trailers in SA and there are many pitfalls that can be avoided by reading articles as comprehensive as the one you posted! 2013 SD4 SE (hers)
