If the cap fits...............

As I have very broad shoulders I can accept any title thrust upon me apart from Mr Boring. Currently just back from 4 day hike in some NZ mountains and so far no helicopters out looking for me which is a bonous compared to 2 years ago.

Gay Don will be ignored and it will be onwards and upwards (so to speak). Watch this space and hold the front page. 🍺 51 Series one passed/sold on half restored to a mate to finish years ago.
Lots of Euro Trash
53 Series one low mileage let go foolishly years ago looking at current prices.
Series 2A Safari restored fully while in Saudi Arabia years ago, sold on to a Brit.
FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current

There's even a wee green lane going north from that pub, if memory serves. Drove it once in a Sherpa van.
Don't suppose I'm eligible now I drive one of these:

Lol! I always have difficulty reading your name correctly - somehow I always see Lager -ed, and have to mentally correct to Large Red. As a wine-drinker myself, I think the name will come easier to my mind now! Smile

I thought it was what happened when you were intoxicated on Stella etc (bier/larger) and he confirmed this when he admitted to not liking real ale (beer). Jules

No issues from my side and lane is still there and I will check on any restrictions pre meet for Sherpa Vans. Will work out a Southern approach route to take in the Ford crossing at Gayle/Hawes. 51 Series one passed/sold on half restored to a mate to finish years ago.

Looks like it could be fun. Alas I probably can't make it as I'll be staying on Holy Island that week, but if it does happen I'll have a look at the logistics. The Sherpa van is long gone, I'm afraid. it was a Freight Rover, so vaguely related to Landies. Had a bed in the back and a carpet on the ceiling - we used it as Officers' Quarters on cadet exercises. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Re the Gobshite get today's Financial Times as it has a feature about the Nepal Trip I was on last November. Yet to read it as dashing for train to Leeds from the airport in Manchester. 51 Series one passed/sold on half restored to a mate to finish years ago.
