Part number help for MY2009

Hi

I'm a new owner and I need some help getting part numbers for a few items for a MY2009 FY2. I can't work out which of the tow bars (swan neck or removable) and electrics (not the dual one) are the right ones for my model year. Have been getting some conflicting information, and a dealer confused me even more. Didn't seem to know themselves.

Also trying to work out the part number of a new driver door seal. Fleabay?

You can fit either of the bars or either electrics in UK, its your own choice. You may have local requirements as there is a EU type plug as well FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Hi Bob

That was my plan, to get something while I am over here this weekend.
I was told however that the electrics VPLFT0105 are not correct for this vehicle. Then there are other sources that I should use LR003107, VPLFT0002 or possibly VPLFT0077 for the 13 pin socket.

and then there are the tow bars VPLFT0118, VPLFT0119 or VPLFT0120, but was told these are incorrect by one source but correct from another Sad -Mark

England

The tow bar is simple it's your choice, fixed bolt on ball, fixed swan neck and detachable swan neck, electrics may be different as there was a change at MY2010 when no software change was needed, whether this effected the wiring I have no idea, the 13 pin socket also known as the EU socket was a much later edition in the UK and most dealers are probably unaware of them as a part, though the car could be ordered with the 13 pin socket as an extra from new, there are 2 types of 7 pin electrics single for trailer towing and twin for the caravan with fridge and charging, whether there is a trailer 13pin socket wiring available in the UK is possibly unlikely.
VPLFT0105 is the twin 7pin sockets not what you want, Part Number: VPLFT0002 : Tow Bar Electric Replaces: LR001780, LR003107,
VPLFT0077 seems to fit later FL's but needs a chassis number check there seems to be 2 versions an L8 and a C8 which may be why it says fits most versions. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

One further point in UK I think only one of the plugs is part of the UK MOT, I suspect its the later EU type. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
