United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

yes that thing was pointless, dull , it went on and on round and round to no purpose

Otherwise a reasonable show, Im sure some loved the fast focus, but to me its just that, Saw one last Sunday, a middle aged fellow alone was tootling round grass field car park I was in, That all he did for 20 mins wanting someone to stop him and talk about it I expect. I nearly stopped him to ask how many tesco bags he can get in the boot. Either get a proper Golf GTI or dont bother Whistle At work

Yep, Big imprevement for me last night. I thought Chris Harris was great, seemed like a natural for it really.

England 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Firenze Red

After their performance on ITV's Drive series I wish Top Gear had brought in Johnny Vegas and Angus Deayton as presenters. The contrast of their sense of humour and enthusiasm would transform the whole feel of the show.

The third show was the best so far. They seem to be relaxing into it. I can't help feeling that this season is a "ranging shot" as they work out what works and what doesn't. Next season will be different, perhaps with different presenters (a la TG Series 1 & 2)

For me the third wasn't much better than the first. The presenting was better, yes, but the material let it down. The only decent one so far has been the second, as the South Africa road trip was actually interesting (in between the silliness).

Lets face it though Pab, the material is the same as if Clarkson and Co had still been presenting it.

Exactly. That was the huge missed opportunity - the old show was getting stale and needed a makeover anyway, but what we've got is same old same old, but with inferior presenters.

I think it's improving. There's less CE plus he's calmed down (a bit).

Still don't get why CE wears the same awful jeans tucked into boots outfit every week though? Maybe he thinks he's auditioning to be lead singer of the script?

Still think. TG extra is ahead though. Like to watch it over breakfast on the Monday! Very Happy

2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Ipanema Sand

I have just got around to watching a couple of episodes this week.

Personally, I thought it was ok and can't really see why they got slated so much for it.
Maybe people just expected too much. Obviously it wasn't going to be better than the original but it is still watchable. I enjoyed the SUV test and it woke me up to the F-Pace Jaguar as a proper 4x4. Freelander 2 2012 HSE Auto SD4 Ipanema Sand

Personally I dont like watching him on TV.
Though he had big shoes to fill on TG......

I almost feel sorry for him, but it was for the best. Now if the Stig, the star in a rallycross car and the silliness would follow him out of the door we might have a decent show!

Hate to say it but great on radio but not on TG. I have met him and he was very pleasant but horses for courses and all that.

I've just seen Jeremy Clarkson. He's just heard the sad news.

 Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.
