Freelander 2 Running Boards

Does anyone know whether its possible to retrofit running boards to an FL2 or do they have to be factory fitted at initial purchase time ??

yeh they can be retro fitted at home if you have the tools.

plenty of sources around for LR, OEM or aftermarket ones.

have a search on this forum as plenty of threads about side steps

I just sol;d a couple of sets - the pics might help you understand how they are fitted

Also have a look at Powerful UK's website for a video on how to actually fit them - bit amateurish but informative

My local LR indie advised me not to buy the cheap ones off ebay as he has had a number of customers who have done so and then gone to him to have them replaced with ones of better quality after they have bent.

He recommends these from britpart
