Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 TD4_e Dynamic Manual Fuji White
11 X 8 Rear Number Plate

Just ordering a replacement rear plate for the disco. It's just dawned on me now that LR has not got any car in production with the traditional square rear plate along with the spare wheel on the rear door. The defender was the last one!

Well I never thought that would happen in my lifetime Laughing Shocked MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Youre right they havent, theres nothing to stop you putting the spare wheel on your bonnet though, oh maybe you need heavier duty gas rams though? Shocked

I believe Brussels stopped the rear door mounted thing, on safety reasons. Won't find any new designs from anyone with a rear mounted spare wheel now.

To be fair, it's now £100 option due to complaints the rear door is too heavy. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Dwell that's what I thought but I was obviously wrong.
Mind you, I'm betting it won't be long before we start to see Defender derrivatives being built in India, along with several other car, truck and motorcycle cast offs selling well over there.
