Quick blast down a wet M65, grip and braking seems excellent, the pirelli's were well worn though Whistle .

Mav 71, checked the speed rating 105v xl before they went on.
Happy with the price, now to claim my £75 from michelin Mr. Green

M65 is atrocious for standing water, spotted a white Sport up near Guide on Friday morning, young lady driving, was that yours?

SWMBO was out and about yesterday, if it was YG reg then yes. Young lady, wait till I tell her that! Laughing Rolling with laughter. You're right M65 is bad for standing water, damn right dangerous in some places.

Can't remember the Reg, she looked across, I was sat at the lights, so she might remember?

I wonder if the Burnley end will be any better once the barrier work is complete? The road in a morning is almost solid in places, I very often use the old A&B roads, much quicker.

She out Xmas shopping at the minute will ask her when she gets back, but knowing her she is usually oblivious to anything going on around her! Laughing Hopefully the m65 will improve its a nightmare some days, same with the road passed Tesco's we got stuck in the football traffic last Saturday, it was terrible Twisted Evil

Hi Taz, no it wasn't TOH you saw yesterday, she's not fully used to the area yet but was not there yesterday. Back in June we'd gone to the lake district for the weekend for her birthday. The day after we'd got back she had a meeting in Clitheroe but somehow had programmed the sat nav for Clitheroe via Kendall! She rang me in a panic on the m6 when she saw signs for Lancaster and realised she shouldn't have been on the m6 Laughing . 12 mile round trip turned into about 70miles! Rolling with laughter

The grip on brand new tyres will be terrible. I really wouldn't advise anyone to 'blast' anywhere in the dry, let alone wet, on new tyres until you've done at least a couple of hundred miles or more on them and scrubbed them in to get rid of the mould release agent. You can still see it on that first picture - it's like a coating of lubricant! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.
