Hey everyone, I've been searching on the usual auction sites for a set of 18" freelander/evoque wheels. Has anyone got any experience of landcover warranty with a set of evoque wheels fitted. Obviously these wheels would be genuine landrover but are they likely to affect my warranty as they are not "standard fit" for a freelander?

Has anyone had any issues when claiming on warranty with evoque wheels fitted?

The only difference is the pattern, the offset for FL2's and Evoque's is exactly the same so no suspension geometry will be changed. I have them on mine but can't really answer your question as I have never been questioned on it by the dealer.

No claims but the wheel as said before are "standard" size and the tyre size on imine at any rate is listed on the door pillar and handbook for the FL2 No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

I would say maybe if youre using wheels where the the offset is different , ie wheel spaced further out, then the loading on the wheel hubs, bearings and suspension pivots will probably be greater, thus if you had a bearing failure and you took it back under warranty they might say its because youre using non standard fitment wheels, its your fault?
Best keep your original wheels so you can out them back on if you need repairs done, at least whilst the warranty period is in force.
If the wheels use the same offset and tyre sizes I cant see theres a problem.

I've been offered 4 Evoque wheels for £275. I was planning to use them to fit my winter tyres (up until now I've swapped the tyres onto my single set of rims).
I'm now a bit worried about the offset issues? Am I worrying too much?

As said above evoque wheels are interchangeable. Dont 100% know offsets are the same. But not aware of anyone having issues. Do know a few fl2 running wheel spacers without issue though and thats a sizable offset difference. Lol.

Offset on an FL2 wheel is generally ET55 whilst the Evoque wheel is ET45 FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Evoque wheels won't invalidate your warranty but won't be covered as they aren't part of your standard spec. Just my understanding, not sure how correct it is.

Excellent, thanks for the various replies. I've gone ahead and bought the rims, just need to get the tyres fitted ready for winter.

As said there will be no issues what so ever. Hubs and wheel bearings for the Evoque and FL2 are the same part number anyway so an argument is non existent.
