Landrover owner again

Afternoon all,

So after a few gap of not having a landrover, I went to bury to buy another audi and ended up near Chester and bought a Freelander 2 2010 HSE.

Its good to be back.

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Santorini Black

Itll be a late 2010 like mine. Mine is an early facelift 2011MY but a 60 reg. Learned to drive in 2011.
Bought a Micra - great little car
"Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it
Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish
Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental

ME TOO..

Ive been a Landrover addict for years with many old Landies for trialing but my "manager" always insisted on a nice car for family use and in recent years no trials car... However.... recently when she wanted me to ferry four of her friends about for two weeks she realised that the "eco friendly Ford" was simply not up to it and after borrowing my son's Disco for two weeks she relented... I've just partx'd the Ford for Freelander 2.... I'm two weeks into ownership now and loving it... even the two hours today wrestling to change the rear door lock without proper instruction... ( The RH will be a breeze lol)
Great to be back

Me also, Im on my third freelander I would not feel safe driving a ordinary car Thumbs Up 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

Gone and fondly remembered
2012 XS (2013 up-grade LED lights front & rear)
2007 hse (2011 facelift)

I'm also about 10 days into ownership. God I missed having a land rover, the freelancer 2 has come along way since my freelancer 1 I had. Cool

United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 TD4_e SE Manual Orkney Grey

I have bought one again fairly recently, used to have a 2010 that was swopped for a new MINI, hopeless, nice car but nothing ever fits in it, so returned and bought a 2014, and as said I feel much safer in it.
Plus the FL2 isnt affected by the dreadful condition of the roads,
I wrote off a £340 rim on the car with low profiles on a pothole.
Look good but not practical these days
