Wiring question for a beginner...

These two Orange connectors supply power to the front cigarette lighter socket.

One has a brown wire - is this 12v live?
The other has two wires, one is yellow and the other blue/black - which is neutral or ground?

My DVD headrest has a red and a black wire... Which connects to which?

Help pls I'm stuck with the car in bits!

Is the power plug fitted in all models then and you just need to buy the head rest screens?

Looks great! Thumbs Up
I fitted the older version Land rover ones a few months ago, I still need an input to play vids etc. via psp or similar.
I rarely sit in the back so it was a purely unselfish mod Wink

Have a safe trip
Joe Fix it until it's broke !

It's for the kids not me, working a treat tho, I'm past Lincoln (from Whitley Bay) and not a peep!

Plug and play really if you know what your doing. I'll write a step-by-step after my hols! Skinned knuckles and all!

My next mod will be to get a digital to analogue input set up... Stream from mobile to screens sort of thing... Any ideas?

No plug on the headrest, just a red and black wire which I jammed into the existing plug for the front socket and taped it in place.

The front socket is only on with the ignition whereas the rear is always on. I didn't want to trust 5 yr olds to switch them off and avoid battery drain so I went with the front option. That way when I remove the key they all shut down automatically.

Fitting them is a piece of Censored if you know what your doing. Took me ages cos I'm Censored at this stuff! If I can do it anyone else could!
