Well it looks like I'm getting to grips with the sound system having only just worked out that there are three different settings, DL II, 3-Channel, and Stereo.

DL II (Dolby Logic II) surround sound is outstanding! In addition to selecting this I have Bass on +1, Treble on +6, Subwoofer on Max, Surround sound on +4, and Central speaker on +1. This seems to be just about right for my ears.

Does anyone else use similar settings, or what settings do you use?

Yes I find that you need to keep the treble on max, bass setting low, with the subwoofer high, otherwise it get's a bit muddy.

The Dolby surround is a little over the top for my liking TBH, but it's certainly more alive than the plain stereo or 3-channel settings. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

The Dolby surround on 6 (max) sounds like it's been recorded in a church hall! I have it on 5, which sounds a like it's live.
