Daily Fail...

A terribly sad story, but very poor journalism by the Daily Mail...

Sad indeed, Freelander that's called Discovery later on and a picture of a BMW X5.

Something very odd too about this story as if I leave my car in gear in won't allow the tailgate to be opened, as for re starting the engine?

Sounds like a totally messed up piece of reporting, full of inconsistencies. Looking at the pictures it might be that the car just rolled down the drive over him rather than being powered down. I feel sorry for the guy and his family but this standard of reporting is disgraceful but fairly typical. Whenever I have been involved in something that the press has reported it was generally full of errors.
I think the problem is that journalists are more interested in an exciting story than accurate reporting. You see it every night on the news with reporters in the middle east dressed in flack jackets and helmets reporting from "the front line", we don't need to see that. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
