I was told by my dealer ,you need to go in and they look at the seal belt and check what model number it is because their has been a new seat belt fitted to newer models that wont cut into the b "post" i have yet to go and have this done as i am not 100% sure just fitting a new belt without a new mounting is going to cure it?

Has anyone got an update on this yet? I have the same issue, and mine is booked in to be looked at, but the guy from the workshop didn't seem to have seen the problem before. |

Had drivers side replaced 3 weeks ago and I raised issue of integrity of seat belt with dealer - got a call today to ask me to bring the vehicle in as LR have decided to replace passenger B pillar and both seat belts. Looks like someone cares somewhere.

Does this mean that we should all get a letter from our dealers recalling our vehicles or is it only if we complain that LR will do something ______________________

Not sure if you'll receive a letter as it is not a safety issue, and most likely they will do it when vehicles are in for service.....but woould suggest that you mention it when you're next in.

I agree with Joe, only take them in when they need a clean, only joking, was well embarresed when I picked up Freeda the other day. Not only was the only magic colour (Baltic Blue) shining in the sun but they had cleaned the interior. B***** hell they must have hired a JCB to cart away the s****. Also lay on the drivers seat was my lost cheque book. Great service! still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit |

Mine is getting done now. Replacement as per Land Rover bulletin I was told. Now mine has a sunroof and they are having a lot of trouble performing the work as the way the roof joins the B pillars is different on the sun roof models. We will see how it goes. |
