F/N/S headlight is looking for aeroplanes????

Hi, after upgrading my standard front bulbs and refitting the light units I've found the near side is now sitting way too high. Poped
them in and out a few times to make sure it's bedded home OK, it is.
Near side light will not move when I adjust from inside at the drivers seat? Is there a reset or a way to manually adjust them?

2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

Funnily enough I was about to post the same thing.

Dealer changed my standard candles (my13) for osram bulbs. First night with a bit of mist/fog and it was clear my drivers side headlight was pointing roughly 45 to the left and up into the trees. Can't say whether it was like this before the bulb changed or not - old bulbs were so weak might not have noticed.

Bottom line the osrams are much brighter but have not really improved current situation unless bird watching is a priority.
Headlight level adjustment in cabin works fine but of course doesn't fix the issue. (Coming) 2016 RR Evoque td4 180 HSE Dynamc
(Going) 2013 TD4 GS Auto - Santorini Black with black leather. Cold Climate, UK Lighting & Armrest Packs. Privacy Glass. LR Rubber Mats. Full size spare.
60 000 miles averaging 35mpg

(Gone) 2010 TD4 Manual GS - Stornoway Grey. Sold at 3yrs old & 64k miles. Final average consumption 39.2mpg.

Swap the bulbs over and if it's still the same, the headlamp can't be fitted correctly.

I found exactly the same when I first installed Nightbreakers. First time around it seemed that they had seated perfectly in the holders but on a second try I found that they hadn't. All fine are the second go.

Thank for replies. All is well now. The F/N/S auto levelling was busted, Pentland Land rover took care of it under warranty. 😁
Happy bunny again.
