Hi,
When I unlock my Freelander (2013) and the lights blink and the wing mirros open, the horn sounds twice. I have checked and all the doors and hood and truck lids are closed properly.
Could this be an issue with the sensors?

Sometimes the horn honking or alarm chirping when unlocking a vehicle means the alarm has gone off.

There is a software update for this.

Mine has done this twice now. First time I took it to the dealer who didn't know what to do although they had one of their cars do the same.

Went home and did a full reset - battery leads off, hold together for 30 seconds, leave disconnected for 15 minutes or so, reconnect. Should be sorted. Clock and windows will need resetting.

I think it is linked to low battery voltage.
