Music wont play/ plays wrong track

Hi People,
I am having a frustration problem with the audio system in my new FL2 Metropolis. I have paired my iPhone 5, and also connected it with the USB cable, but I am having great trouble playing my music through the system.
Initialy, all was well, (on the way back from the garage) but now either my songs wont play at all, or the track I select from the touchscreen is not the song that plays. its a lottery.
I have dissconected and re-connected, and reset the device. This has made no difference. I have also tried my partners phone and this is the same.

Any help will be much appreciated. Exclamation

Could it be to do with iOS ? I'm picking mine up tomorrow so will let you know if I have the same problems!

Ours does a similar thing; the song title displayed on the screen does not always match what's actually playing on the iPhone...

Thanks for the reply. Don't think its that because although mines updated to 8, my girlfriends is still on 7, yet the problem is still there. Other than this issue, the cars great- what a difference the spec makes !- especially the Windsor leather, and electric seats. And the sound system is incredible ( when it works!)
Looking forward to hearing what you think.
Regards
Mark

Does the same thing happen if you're connected by either bluetooth or USB? I'm just wondering if it's getting confused by being connected both ways at the same time.

Interesting. I have it connected by bluetooth and by cable- am I doing something wrong ? Mind, I did the same in my last FL2, and with no problem.

I don't know, but didn't the later cars introduce playing music over bluetooth, whilst in the earlier cars bluetooth was for the phone only? If so you could effectively have two connections to the same music device. Perhaps worth trying one at a time just to see what happens.

You can't conect by more than 1 source . On the screen it asks you how you want to conect .. Bluetooth or usb (cable) or aux Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

Hi nic, I store all of my music on a hard drive . The music on my iTunes is linked to the music on the hard drive in the normal way . All of my music is on MP3 format. I bought a mini usb stick (32gb) and i copied & pasted the music to the stick . The sound is much better from the stick than any other source. To me the sound via Bluetooth sounds a under waterish, using the aux connection is good but a footer to use . Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!
