Were you at New England Bay?

A nice Freelander passed by us today, obviously leaving the site. It had a a bike carrier mounted on the towbar which was carrying 2 bikes and was able to tow the caravan as well. I was just wondering what the towbar and bike carriers were, as it looked ideal. I put mine in the roof but it's quite an effort and would prefer to put them in the back.
So, if it was you and you are a member, I'd be very grateful if you could let me know your setup.

It wasn't me but I really like that campsite. A lovely part of the world with great wildlife in land and sea. Well worth a visit. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

Yes, one of our favourite sites and Galloway is a lovely part of Scotland, with its own micro-climate as well!

Great site, according to my parents

Though I'm not sure if I want to go there, few years back my mum came back from 2weeks there serious ill, now the same has happened to my father

Nothing to do with the site apart from bad luck for when you find out about illnesses, but they still love it there

I think Max Rax do a towbar mounted carrier you can tow with Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Wasn't me either but I do use these to tow and carry bikes:

The tow bar needs to be the flange type as the socket for the cycle rack pole is welded to a plate which fits between the tow ball and the flange. 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE.
