Blackvue Bricks is SDcard

Had a check sd card error, the other day, normally a unplug resets it

This time the Sandisk 32gb SDhC is bricked, won't let me delete anything, or save anything to it, justs says it write protected

Went to review something it should have recorded, the time was there, but would not play, then unplugging it and trying nothing had been recorded since 11/06/14

Tried it in various adapters, PC and Mac and one or two different formatting program's

SD cards don't last forever, although there is no moving parts they do wear out and become unusable, the card in the blackvue is constantly writing a lot of data.
Have you tried a new card?

Pretty much what has been said - Like SDD drives SD cards are solid memory with lots of physical switches to store data ( 1s and 0s ).... after a while these ware out which is why the algorithms in big drives for even use is important.

Some times a chk dsk can restore the drives as this will allow it to mark areas which can not be used any more but not always.

This is why on my phone I use Autoguard with a cheap replaceable SD card rather than the main memory in the same way ship builders used to put copper on the bottom of ships to save the hull. Terran

That was to stop fouling as marine life doesn't like copper. First used by Admiral "Copperbottom" Rodney on hs ships to do nasty things to the French. They were much more manoeuvrable without all the weed. GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver

sad cards used to have a small sliding switch on one edge to make them secure, hence the name-Secure Digital -SD so it might have been accidentally switched to this to prevent deletion of data
