Mine went at 22k miles, others have had them go at 80k whilst some have never gone at all. Don't worry about it, stop listening for it, if it comes you'll hear it, there are more that haven't had it than those that have |

Thanks for the reply. More curious than anything, just as a personal stats thing. I bought my FL2 used and there has been no record if it being done however in saying that, it's not to say it's never been done or will never need to be done. I think I'm one of the lucky ones!! Just curious if there's a common mileage or link I suppose.. |

Mine lasted 140,000kms, complete new unit fitted at a cost of $2500 by the Land Rover dealer who supplied the car. That has been the only significant problem with the car and it appears to be a matter of luck as to whether it gives problems. |
