Might I suggest you take a look under the loadspace cover at the perimeter of the spare wheel recess. You may have a factory fitted tailored plastic 'triangular' box already there with its speaker. My GS has one.
.
I've played with the speaker controls and arnt especially impressed by it, it just sort of bounces the rear trim panels.
.
If you don't have one may I reccomend that you find a local FL2 member with one and then. Have a listen and a play with the controls.
.
Kind regards from Fred

Mine does not have a sub in the boot, just a gap around the spare wheel.

was thinking about fitting an active sub, something like a Kenwood or Alpine but i din't have any wiring details.
