I understand, however when I brought my FL2 home, I had great difficulty in referring to it as "the car/ my car", etc. Because it is a Land Rover! Maybe it is because in my (uniformed) distant past I have driven many S2s, (LWB & SWB) Lightweights, etc. Always referred to as "the Land Rover". Therefore, to me, my FL2 is still "the Land Rover"! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

I don't like the term "SUV"

I especially don't like the term "SAV" (Thank you BMW)

I don't even like the term "4x4"

Listen, this is very simple! They are either "Land Rovers", or "Happy Shopper Land Rovers"; so that's BMW, Jeep, Toyota, Mitsubishi and the like covered then Laughing

When I get my new one later this month the last three letters on the number plate are, suv, love that, because that's what it is , or it's a 4x4 or it's just a big car , would not call it a truck though that would be for the disco,

I don't think it will ever called a car.

This one is still the Land Rover,

What the Freelander we've just bought will be called is a different matter!

Probably "Junior" :D

Not really too bothered what mine gets called. The only thing that used to annoy me was when people called my old Defender a Jeep.

The worst phrase of all is...crossover, think they must be referring to the wife's legs. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak.

Thumbs Up Laughing

Never minded it being called a truck. Always felt more like a truck than a car to drive...
