Sending a private message

I sent my first private message yesterday and hope someone with more experience can help. I have looked in my out box and it shows in there but my sent box has nothing in it. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to send this message? I was expecting something like the 'send and receive' on e-mail but can't find any clues on this. I assume that while it stays in my out box it cannot be read by the intended recipient?
Would appreciate some advice on this, Thanks

dont know if its the same on this forum, but often the PM will stay in the outbox until it is read by the recipient. After it is read it will go to the sent box.

Remember - this isn't e-mail, your messages stay on this website..

Messages you sent remain in the Outbox until they are read, at which point they move to the Sent Box Smile

Thanks for the advice

Thanks to all who replied. I see that my message has now moved to the sent box so has been read. I'm new to this site but think I am getting the hang of it now.
Thanks

I have had some PM's in my outbox for some time now

Are people getting the notification that they have one (I have a popup to tell me), and a email to say there is one waiting

2 of my PM are to you (Martin) as well from a while ago

Nick

Just had an exchange of PM yesterday and everything worked out all right.
On the other hand if your PM messages were directed to Gordon Brown than maybe it will take some time to be filled as SPAWN. Laughing
No offence ment ver here the messages for the PM just go directly into the DELETE file Laughing Laughing
