Thanks Slaneydore. I'm just getting used to things at the moment, so won't rush into any modifications (and no service items needing looking at just yet) but as soon as I see a decent s/h arm rest I'll fit one- the lack of it is the only shortcoming I've noticed so far.

Hi Only recently found site but have owned car since Feb this year.

08 HSE Auto that has been great so far.

Just had loose electric seats to deal with so far but was completed under warranty.

Found some great tips on the site like auto window and mirror settings.

Did a day with Land rover experience in a LR2 and also evoque, good fun.

Have also been off road with the forest commission and have another day book in Dec.

Been a long time stalker and have found this site to be a real help. Have owned a 2008 Freelander 2 SE since July 2012 and have absolutely loved it.

Great car, comfortable on long drives (previous car was a 1992 Pajero) and has taken us to some great spots. Do miss the clearance of the Paj, but nothing else. Just have to be a bit more careful of the sand ruts on Moreton Island!
