Had a great session here with number 2 son this afternoon, in an incredibly capable Defender 110. It had rained most of the morning, making the conditions ideal in terms of mud/water/slippery stuff etc. That car is something else...it did things a Disco 4 couldn't/wouldn't attempt, and the Ford Transit 2.2 Diesel engine suited it perfectly. No computers/HDC/TR...just a good old fashioned straightforward workhorse with a mechanically locking Diff.
For those who have never tried a Defender before, it's a bone-shaker, but a great experience nonetheless. My thanks to Simon, who was first class as an instructor...we loved it!

I've driven that one at Luton myself, it's brilliant isn't it? Reversing up that ridiculously steep hill left me grinning like a schoolboy. 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green
