Saw this Freelander from the cab of AA lorry. My disco was on its way to stealers after breaking down on the M6 the night before. There was also Disco along side you M44 ***displaying the DISCO3.COM sticker

Hi Gaz,
My Mrs has a freelander and this was my first FREEL2.com spot. Just had word off stealers today. There was a short on starter motor that blow master fuse which in turn supply's the alternator and when the battery got under a specific voltage it just died. I was in the fast lane of M6 at the time and it was like driving a tank lol. Hopefully have it back tomorrow

Good to here you will be getting your car back sorted ,I have not seen any freel2 stickers yet but when I had my disco3 I spotted a few stickers ,not sure how many people live near me with freel2s but I will keep my eyes open

bad news off stealers today. They replaced the starter motor, found the alternator had also gone and on top of that apparently the crank shaft had broken! I was LIKE YOU WHAT!!! He said he had never seen one like that. He reckons it will be a full engine replacement, waiting for authorisation from land rover

I live up in Cumbria and work down here through the week. I sometimes have the Freelander, just to spread the miles out a bit so keep ur eyes pealed

Hi sorry for the late reply not been on for a bit ,sorry to here about you car ,hope its sorted now but not at your cost I was thinking of a poss change to a disco 4 but after your probs I will have to think hard about changing,I will keep my eyes open for you
