I believe the later cars have different fixing points for the covers to the foams so I don't think later covers will fit early foams. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I have changed all the seat covers on my 59 gs with new covers from a 62 gs , although they are cloth they are a perfect fit . The only fixings that are different are on the front seat backs. The newer covers on these are a lot easier to fit than the old ones. When doing the retrim i refreshed the foam on the seats with a steamer . You can see the seats regain their original shape as you do it. `if they are split then you have to replace .

Kitchener,
Thanks... Do you think the same would apply to the leather covers?

If he has done them with cloth, then it stands to reason that the leather covers will be doable as well. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
